Monsters

Attacking monsters is an essential part of the game this will level your characters, and you will find magic items and artifacts by attacking the monsters. If your coven is in a clan, you can find monsters in your clan forums. If your coven is clanless, you can find monsters in your coven forums. Barren has an advantage vs. monsters in that their attack bonus will apply. Hills have an advantage vs. monsters in that if more than one character is used the highest level characters will return first. You'll get a better chance at magic items if you break the monsters more than once vs. breaking the monsters only once. Some players only attack monsters unless there is a war. You must break vampires to get a chance at a magic item. For other monsters you can fail on the monsters and still get a chance at a magic item(s), the more you send, the better your chance.
  • Monster, Attack, Defense, Item Rolls, Chance per Roll, Artifact Chance.
  • Orcs, 1, 1, 2, 34, 1%.
  • Spiders, 500, 250, 3, 24, 1%.
  • Giants, 750, 500, 2, 60, 2%.
  • Vampires, 50, 50, 4, 28, 1%.
  • Dragons, n/a, 2500, 1, 79, 3%.
  • Lycans, 150, 100, 2, 50, 2%.
  • Behemoths****, 10000, 5000, 3, 55, 1%.
* Artifact chance is PER roll...
** Dragons can get 2 magic items if a high enough level rogue is present.
*** Chance per roll is affected by rogues, Forest, some bows, certain artifacts, and clan status, and it is assuming you break the monsters.
Giants can add 2 turns lag to characters. Lycans can add 1 turn to lag. Vampirs ressurect 50% of casualties in battle.
Lycans infect 100% of casualties in battle.
**** Behemoths add 4 hours to return times, they can also berserk for double attack strength when they attack (they're also worth more exp when you attack them)
